Hello,
As summer winds down and the fall conference season begins, we'd like to share a few updates, reminders, and opportunities for Empire Procure Connect statewide contract vendors. Please share this newsletter with your resellers and distributors.
Thank you for helping Empire State Alliance agencies, schools, municipalities, and cooperative purchasing entities access the products and services they need efficiently.
What's New This Quarter
Expanding Supplier Opportunities
Empire Procure Connect continues to help suppliers connect with procurement opportunities across participating agencies and organizations throughout New York.
Maintaining an updated supplier profile and monitoring active solicitations can help maximize your visibility and business opportunities.
Current Contract List
An updated listing of New York State contracts open to New York Cooperative Purchasing Program participants is available on the EPC News & Events page. The spreadsheet is organized in multiple tabs, so review it to confirm how your contract appears to buyers.
Join Us for the Supplier Onboarding Webinar
Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. ET
Whether you're new to Empire Procure Connect or want a refresher, this session walks through getting set up, keeping your information current, and making the most of your marketplace presence. There will be time for questions at the end.
Can't make it? A recording will be posted on the Supplier Resource Page, along with the June 2026 session.
Update Your BidNet Direct Account
Log in to BidNet Direct periodically to keep your information current and your account active. An inactive account can mean missed bid notifications and buyers finding out-of-date contact details. For step-by-step instructions, see [INSERT LINK TO ACCOUNT UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS].
Quarterly Supplier Reminders
As we close out Q3, here are a few important reminders:
- Review and update supplier contact information
- Monitor bid notifications and solicitation updates
- Stay current on contract and reporting requirements
- Check system messages regularly for important announcements
Keeping your information accurate helps buyers find and engage with your business more effectively.
Q3 Sales Reporting
A requirement of the Empire Procure Connect Marketplace Program is reporting quarterly sales made on your cooperative contract(s) to Cooperative Purchasing Participants, including counties, school districts, municipalities, and authorities.
Q3 covers July 1 – September 30, 2026. Reports are due by October 31.
- Report all Q3 sales, even if the total is zero
- Submit through the Reconciler system
- Refer to your cooperative contract(s) and current EPC Marketplace Contract Amendment(s) to confirm which sales to report

Bring EPC Signage to Your Own Events
Exhibiting or attending an event this fall? Show buyers that your statewide contract is available on the EPC platform with our customizable "Proud EPC Contract Holder" table-top sign, available on the Supplier Resource Page (password: EPCSupplierSupport!).
The 11" x 17" sign is print-ready, and yours to personalize:
- Add your company logo, contract details, or other branding elements
- Print as is — the included QR code sends buyers to empireprocureconnect.com to search contracts
- Or swap in your own QR code linking directly to your contract on EPC (test it before you finalize the file)
- Pre-formatted for FedEx printing, which includes the table-top display hardware — costs start around $17.99 per sign
Printing and shipping costs are the supplier's responsibility, and you're welcome to use the print supplier of your choice. Full instructions are included in the download.
